Abstract: Zusammenfassung Das Klimaziel der Bundesregierung bis 2050 klimaneutral zu werden erfordert einen Wandel im Mobilitätssektor vom motorisierten Individualverkehr (MIV) hin zum öffentlichen Personennahverkehr (ÖPNV). Dieser als Modal Shift bezeichnete Wandel soll mit Pull-Faktoren umgesetzt werden, d. h. der MIV wird nicht durch Restriktionen unattraktiver gemacht, was einen Push-Faktor darstellt, sondern der ÖPNV wird durch neue flexible Angebote und gezielte Taktverdichtungen erweitert und verbessert.
