Abstract:
Abstract It is a privilege to have the opportunity to write this ‘greeting chapter’ for Professor Gabriele Kaiser’s Festschrift. While I write a personal story and greeting I know that this story and the sentiments herein are echoed by other South African colleagues of mine in mathematics education who had the opportunity to engage with and learn from Gabriele during her trips to South Africa.
