Abstract:
Abstract Purpose: Find a concept/method of Operational Excellence (OE)-transformation associated with the improvement of leadership/management tools in the design, guidance and development of OE-programmes. Design/methodology/approach: A systematic literature review examines the relationship between leadership/communication/management and expansion of OE-programmes. Findings: The research reveals a concept/method for transformation and its validation in the context of customer mandates. Research impacts: Managers are provided with an integrative, holistic OE-transformation toolbox, thus companies can enter the OE-transformation process at any station. Novelty contribution: This paper is a methodological-theoretical attempt to review the literature on global management models, and thoroughly parses the knowledge gaps and potential pitfalls of misunderstanding.
