Chapter Chapter 2 in Game Theory - Successful Negotiation in Purchasing, 2023, pp 7-30 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter gives a brief overview of the basic concepts of game theory. Without claiming completeness, it introduces elementary methods that are applied in the following chapters. For a detailed, formal presentation, I would recommend Berninghaus (2010) or—largely without mathematics—Binmore (2007). If you have prior knowledge of game theory, or are simply impatient, you could skip directly to Chap. 4 .
