Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die Organisation „Velafrica“ ( www.velafrica.ch ) sammelt ausgediente Velos, macht sie wieder flott und verschifft sie nach Afrika. Jährlich gelangen so über 20.000 Velos in sieben Länder. Rund vier Fünftel der Velos werden nach Tansania, Burkina Faso, Madagaskar und Südafrika geliefert. Die verbleibenden Velos gehen an vier kleinere Partnerbetriebe in Ghana, Gambia und der Elfenbeinküste.
