Case Study: Leadership from the Inner to the Outer World

Martin Barner ()

A chapter in Unternehmenskultur als Strategie, 2024, pp 203-211 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract There is no organizational change without individual change. While change and transformation is a reality in business as in life, we must seek within ourselves as leaders and human beings if we aspire to change the world around us. As many transformations fail due to not getting the people right, herein lies an insight applicable for those that desire driving performance as part of transformation on both an individual and collective level. The Novartis Unbossed Leadership Experience is a leadership development experience that was designed to support the deep transformation of leaders’ mindsets and behaviors to enable them to lead the Novartis culture transformation to Reimagine Medicine. Intertwined with the Novartis culture journey, it has been a foundational piece to unleash the power of our people.
