Chapter Chapter 10 in Digital Product Management, 2024, pp 189-201 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract As product managers and UX designers, we strive to continuously develop and constantly improve our products. However, no matter how much effort we put in, there are always users who do not appreciate our optimizations, reject them, or in the worst case, hate them so much that they trigger a public “shitstorm”. There are several reasons for this, and psychology plays an important role. But there are also means and ways to confront the resistances of the users, reduce them, and in the best case, completely eliminate them.
