User-Centered Product Visions

Chapter Chapter 2 in Digital Product Management, 2024, pp 31-43 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A good product vision can significantly influence the success or failure of a product. It puts customer benefit at the center and provides a long-term and inspiring guiding principle. However, product visions are often not lived collectively, are too generic, or are only about business figures. Then the hoped-for effect does not occur. In this article, you will see why you need a vision, how best to integrate it, which tools you can use, and how you can, among other things, come to a truly shared and customer-centered vision with a team workshop.
