Chapter Chapter 6 in Digital Product Management, 2024, pp 107-124 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The article describes how important Product Discovery is in order to work on the right product solutions in digital product management that generate real added value for customers. To this end, the basic goals and principles, such as outcome orientation, user centricity, and the iterative approach in an interdisciplinary team, of a Product Discovery are explained. Following this, the differences between a project-based and a continuous Discovery are presented, before individual Discovery frameworks and tools are introduced. The article concludes with some practical tips for implementing a Product Discovery.
