A chapter in The Future of Work, 2024, pp 77-84 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Workation is an important development trend in the field of modern working life. The benefits for the participants are manifold. Employers must follow this trend if they intend to keep pace with their competitors and at the same time want to stay on the safe side in terms of legal design. Therefore, companies should deal intensively with the issues of labor, social security, and tax law and develop clear guidelines tailored to the company.
