A chapter in The Future of Work, 2024, pp 85-92 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract “Work from Anywhere” is the latest model to emerge from the “New Work” trend and gives employees the freedom to choose from a variety of possible work locations. In particular when employees are working abroad, many requirements from various legal areas must be met in order for employers to avoid or at least limit liability risks. In preparation for the introduction of Work from Anywhere, it is recommended that works agreements and individual contractual agreements be entered into. With the necessary preparatory work and testing, Work from Anywhere can be successfully and legally implemented in companies so that both employees and employers can benefit from it.
