A chapter in The Future of Work, 2024, pp 163-170 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract T-Systems operates in a market environment characterized by constant changes in technology, market, and customer requirements in ever shorter cycles. A high degree of adaptability and responsiveness is the key success factor to be able to respond quickly and flexibly to these developments in the future. With the implementation of a flexible organizational model, T-Systems has initiated a radical and disruptive change. The article explains the organizational model designed based on the Spotify model, shows the steps of change, the success factors of the transformation, but also the challenges that T-Systems faced before, during, and after the implementation. The contribution is rounded off with the experiences and recommendations of the transformation managers at T-Systems.
