Abstract:
Abstract Whether traditional or agile the topic of salary can cause frustration and demotivation in any company. In modern organizations operating on agile principles, the principles of self-responsibility and self-organization collide with traditional compensation systems that grant employees little to no say. borisgloger consulting GmbH has developed a salary process that meets the criteria of agile performance management: the employees decide on their salaries in a participatory, iterative process. A survey conducted within the company has shown that the salary guild is perceived as a transparent and fair procedure, promotes open communication, and has a positive impact on satisfaction.
