A chapter in The Future of Work, 2024, pp 35-41 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be considered the key technology of the 21st century, as it influences many aspects of private and professional life. With increasing technological development, the possibilities and advantages of artificial intelligence in companies are also increasing. We will experience artificial intelligence as colleagues, as superiors, and as recipients of instructions. AI will replace some jobs and at the same time create new tasks with new qualification requirements. This will not only affect the work of individuals, but the labor market as a whole. The requirements for existing professions are changing, some skills will be needed less in the future, and at the same time new professional fields will emerge, especially in the area of developing and applying artificial intelligence, while other professions will become obsolete. This development will lead to a disruptive transformation of the labor market.
