Abstract: Abstract The preceding chapters described what the Metaverse is, how it is structured, and why we have not yet fully arrived in the Metaverse today and in the near future. Nevertheless, we are on the way and the speed of developments is increasing year by year. So it’s not a question of “if”, but only a question of “when”. Therefore, companies should already now critically engage with the Metaverse and examine in which areas potential added values could lie.
