AI in Management: Control and Oversight of All Phases
Manuel Beck ()
Chapter Chapter 10 in Artificial Intelligence in Sales, 2025, pp 129-137 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines the use of Artificial Intelligence in management. Although management in the traditional sense does not represent its own phase of the sales cycle, it is indispensable as a control and monitoring body. By using AI, management can significantly increase its efficiency and make more informed decisions. Initially, the AI-based processing of customer data and KPIs in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) is described, followed by automated performance measurement and evaluation. Other topics include the monitoring of anomalies by AI and support in recruiting. In addition, AI-based coaching of employees and performance enhancement through gamification are discussed. Finally, helpful prompting tips for the use of ChatGPT and similar tools are presented, which further support these processes.
