Chapter Chapter 2 in Sales and Business Models in the Logistics Industry, 2025, pp 17-59 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract What distinguishes a poor business model from a good one, and a good one from an excellent one? Despite the glut books on this subject, none specifically address the logistics service industry. This chapter will discuss the various business models of the most important players in the logistics service industry. We’ll also demonstrate how the transition to an excellent business model can be achieved, because such a model is indispensable for a long-term competitive advantage and margin growth.
