Abstract:
Abstract After a successful delivery of the IMPACT programs through IMD, DSM approached the program faculty to assist in further enhancing the results of the program. A description of initial pilot workshops are offered and the events leading up to the pivotal DSM marketing day in 1991 are described, where the idea of the “Business Strategy Dialogue” was presented to a wider audience of senior managers for the first time. The background to the dialogue concept and its content are described and how the seeds for further involvement of the IMPACT faculty were planted.
