Chapter 8 in From Coal to Biotech, 2015, pp 135-153 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, the focus is on the activities that followed once DSM had adopted the Business Strategy Dialogue for its businesses. The role of the faculty in this process is described, as well as the different experiences that led to invite the faculty in a co-creation mode to enhance the process further. The role of the faculty in training DSM facilitators and challengers for the BSD process are explained. The supporting educational effort to prepare DSM managers on an on-going basis to contribute and participate in this process are described. Emphasis is on the Strategic Management Course (SMC) that became the major supporting element of this initiative for many years.
