Chapter Chapter 10 in Quality Management for Services, 2023, pp 419-465 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract To implement quality management, quality models have proven themselves in recent decades that were developed within the framework of so-called quality awards. Originally, these models were used primarily to assess the quality management of service companies and to award quality prizes. Meanwhile, they also serve service companies as a reference framework for implementing and improving their own quality management. To illustrate the background of quality models, their relevance is explained in this chapter and important quality prizes are presented and critically assessed with the EFQM Model, the Ludwig-Erhard-Preis, the ESPRIX Award as well as the Austrian Quality Award.
