A chapter in The Teaching of Geometry at the Pre-College Level, 1971, pp 300-310 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract My understanding is that this International Conference on the Teaching of Geometry will address itself to the improvement of geometry courses. Naturally, vitalizing and modernizing the content of the courses will have the strongest impact on the projected improvement. However, content depends on some prior conditions, namely, on the philosophy and orientation of the courses; in simple terms, on the purposes of the course.
