Abstract:
Abstract The development of Internet-based financial products and services is challenging the managers of commercial banks in China. Promoting the transformation of commercial banks by offering digital products and services is an important issue. Employing the resource-based view (RBV), we analyze different strategies for large and small commercial banks to develop their own online financial services. We mainly study the cases of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Baoshang Bank.
