Chapter Chapter 19 in Speaking Management, 2021, pp 335-337 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter deals with the times when we might start to fight each other, the difficulties our pattern seeking behaviour can produce and our tendency to exaggerate for dramatic effect before generating belief in our own propaganda. It then proposes a paradigm shift from a ‘disagree first, define later’ to ‘define first, disagree later’.
