Chapter Chapter 11 in Managing Multiple Organizational Goals in Turbulent Environments, 2022, pp 187-190 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book extends knowledge on multiple organizational goals—equivalently goal polychronicity. Addressing gaps in the literature, our investigation is grounded in two specific research questions addressing the antecedents of goal polychronicity, and the organizational performance impact of it, respectively. We develop the arguments drawing on logics from the research on efficiency-flexibility, control-types, polychronicity, and multiple organizational goals.
