Abstract: Abstract This bibliometric analysis of FinTech adoption literature reveals significant growth in publications and citations over the years, with a notable surge since 2020, as evidenced by the sharp increase in documents and citations. The top-cited documents encompass a range of topics, including the economic forces driving technology emergence, dynamics of robo-advisor adoption, challenges in blockchain implementation, and clarifications on FinTech concepts. Authors such as Okoli, T.T., Alsmadi, A.A., and Setiawan, B. stand out for their prolific contributions, while Belanche, D., Casaló, L.V., and Flavián, C. are recognized for their highly cited works. Moreover, countries like India, China, Malaysia, the United States, and Indonesia emerged as productive and cited hubs of FinTech adoption research, indicating a global interest in the field. Network analyses uncover four thematic clusters focusing on Blockchain and Sustainability, FinTech Adoption, Economic and Social Perspectives, and the Fintech Landscape, each delving into specific facets of FinTech adoption. Future research avenues include exploring cross-cultural variations, investigating cryptocurrency adoption, understanding supply chain finance dynamics, integrating FinTech with sustainability efforts, examining open banking adoption, and studying FinTech adoption among SMEs. Such multidisciplinary approaches promise to enrich our understanding of FinTech adoption and contribute to developing inclusive, sustainable, and resilient financial systems.
