Chapter Chapter 9 in Determining Outcomes and Impacts of Human Resource Development Programs, 2024, pp 123-141 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In line with the progressive trajectory of this book, the current chapter serves as a vital conduit between the theoretical foundations and the practical implementation of the Integrated Evaluation Model for determining outcomes and impacts of human resource research. While the preceding chapter (Chap. 5 ) highlighted the significance of adopting such a model, this chapter takes a deeper dive into the evaluation process, specifically focusing on the methodology employed. By delving into the intricacies of the evaluation methodology, this chapter aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the practical steps involved in assessing the projects, activities, and impacts related to human resource research. The methodology employed in this evaluation process is designed to address the inherent challenges posed by the vast scope and complexity of human development goals. A key aspect of the methodology is the establishment of a well-structured research design that encompasses appropriate approaches tailored to mature projects. This ensures that the evaluation process is systematic, rigorous, and aligned with the objectives of the research intervention. By studying the strategic plan for economy and development, with a particular focus on human resource development and related policies and activities, the evaluation aims to assess the extent to which the projects have achieved the indicators and goals specified in their plans based on the Integrated Evaluation Model for determining outcomes and impacts of human resource research.
