Abstract:
Abstract Corporate sustainability business strategy is about aligning business strategy with sustainability principles and formulated to solve economic, social/human, and environmental sustainability challenges relevant for the organisation. Organisations are pressurized by the macro-, meso- and micro level institutional factors as discussed in chapter 2 to move from the margins to the mainstream of corporate activities to achieve integrated sustainability outcomes. In this chapter, two organisation sustainability frameworks are used to understand the structure and processes that organisations can use to develop, lead, and implement corporate sustainable business strategy. Next the organisation, market, and employee level conditions are discussed in implementing corporate sustainability business strategy. Subsequently, sustainability organisational culture is explored to address the organisation level success factors for implementing corporate sustainability. Finally, sustainable HRM from the employee level success conditions to implement corporate sustainability business strategy are explained.
