Digital Marketing vs. Traditional Marketing: A Comparison
Diego Adolfo Carrasco Gubernatis
Chapter Chapter 20 in The Digital Marketer's Playbook, 2024, pp 163-166 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, I’m going to dissect some of the key differences between digital and traditional marketing. This topic is interesting if you’re transitioning from a traditional marketing background or if you’re trying to understand why digital marketing is becoming increasingly dominant in today’s business landscape. I will explore aspects such as speed, costs, flexibility, and measurability and provide a comparative table to visually summarize these differences.
