Abstract: Abstract Let’s make something clear before we start: no one sets out to run a remote team poorly. Small budgets and indecisive top-level leadership can make smoothly running any team nearly impossible. Managing remote developers isn’t easy, even when everything is set up for success. Communication and collaboration that can be effortless for in-person teams are a struggle when working remotely due to distance and differing schedules.
