Chapter 35 in Realizing Organizational Effectiveness, 2024, pp 117-118 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Given the role that individual job performance plays in the overall operations and success of an organization, it is important that the performance of every employee in an organization be periodically reviewed and appropriate action be taken by that individual’s immediate supervisor. Supervisors who are successful in motivating and empowering their employees recognize that in many ways evaluating the performance of their assigned employees is one of their most important roles and responsibilities as a supervisor or manager.
