Fundamentals of Statistical Quality Inspection

Chapter Chapter 12 in Quality Control Applications, 2013, pp 235-255 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Measured quality of manufactured products is always subject to a certain amount of variation as a result of chance. A system of chance causes is inherent in any particular scheme of production as well as of inspection. Variation within this pattern is inevitable. The reasons for variation outside this pattern should, however, be discovered and corrected.
