Sampling Methods

Dimitris N. Chorafas ()

Chapter Chapter 9 in Quality Control Applications, 2013, pp 165-185 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The researcher, designer, or quality control engineer must learn not only the mechanics of mathematical statistics, but also the concepts that lie behind them. One of the most fundamental is the method of sampling and plotting the results of sample tests. Too often sampling is not properly planned and this weights heavily on the results of tests as well as on findings.
