Chapter Chapter 2 in Using Game Theory to Improve Safety within Chemical Industrial Parks, 2013, pp 13-34 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter elaborates on the type of accidents which are the focus of the prevention decision and investment theory and models described in the following chapters in this book. The state-of-the-art multiple plant safety management is expounded. Existing models and approaches to deal with multi-plant safety are presented and discussed. The usefulness of game theory as a mathematical instrument to help realizing the concrete implementation of the models is clarified.
