Chapter 2 in Recent Advances in Reliability and Quality in Design, 2008, pp 31-56 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The k-out-of-n structure is a very popular type of redundancy in fault tolerant systems, with wide applications in various types of systems. In many real applications, components and systems have multiple states. This chapter reports the recent advances in the modelling and reliability evaluation of k-out-of-n systems.
