Chapter 3 in Reliability and Risk Issues in Large Scale Safety-critical Digital Control Systems, 2009, pp 47-78 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Case studies of countermeasures mentioned in Chapters 1 and 2 are presented. The safety of digital applications in NPPs has been discussed by the National Research Council [1]. Appropriate methods for assessing safety and reliability are keys to establishing the acceptability of digital instrumentation and control systems in NPPs.
