A chapter in Advances in Reliability Analysis and its Applications, 2020, pp 293-305 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Last decade has seen several multi up-gradation models and related software release policies. The unified modeling framework for developing multi-release software systems has gained tremendous lime light for prediction of software reliability. Various models have been developed to cater the diversified scenarios like those of imperfect debugging, stochasticity and testing effort related modeling. In the present work, using the unified modeling approach, it has been checked out which release performs best for a particular type of real life scenario. The data for Tandem computers has been utilized for validation purpose.
