Abstract: Abstract Some of the so-called “sequential analysis methods” such as cause-consequence diagram analysis, event tree analysis, bowtie analysis and layer of protection analysis are presented and examples provided. A review of their main strengths and weaknesses is made as well as their use with other methods detailed in this book.
