Abstract:
Abstract Reliability mathematics aims to use a multidisciplinary approach to improving the reliability of engineered systems and avoiding negative consequences due to system failures. In this subject, operational research, probability, and statistics are widely used approaches in tackling various challenges. This chapter introduces basic concepts that are commonly used in reliability engineering.
