A chapter in Data-Driven Methods for Reliability and Safety Engineering: Applications in Industrial Systems, 2026, pp 189-198 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Frequent post-delivery support challenges impose significant demands on both users and manufacturers, particularly regarding personnel, technology, cost, and project schedules. A major contributing factor is that most existing supportability evaluations are qualitative rather than quantitative, and systematic reviews throughout the development process are often insufficient. In response to these issues, this paper examines quantitative evaluation methodologies for integrated support domestically and internationally, identifies representative techniques such as continuous support maturity assessment and support effectiveness evaluation, and provides a reference framework for future research on quantitative approaches to integrated support.
