Abstract:
Abstract Within the framework of the traditional bureaucratic model, the equipment support supply chain often exhibits inefficiencies related to inadequate information flow, limited interdepartmental collaboration, and suboptimal resource allocation. These challenges frequently result in the formation of “information islands” and the emergence of the “bullwhip effect” throughout the supply process. To mitigate these deficiencies, boundaryless organization theory is introduced as a strategic approach for optimizing the equipment support supply chain. A comprehensive office is established within the organizational structure to facilitate horizontal resource integration, while an information platform is employed to ensure effective vertical information flow. These measures collectively address the horizontal fragmentation and vertical disconnection inherent in conventional supply chain models, thereby providing novel insights and actionable strategies for enhancing supply chain coordination and operational efficiency.
