Abstract:
Abstract Basic reliability, as a crucial indicator of equipment quality, significantly influences aspects such as maintainability, testability, and supportability. However, the growing levels of equipment reliability, alongside shorter test cycles and cost constraints, have led to a challenge of insufficient basic reliability test samples, complicating the assessment process. This paper addresses two primary factors affecting basic reliability: technical state and environmental conditions. By leveraging data generated from similar products in comparable environments, the necessary test data for basic reliability assessment is transformed. Additionally, reliability test results under different conditions are integrated, resulting in the development of a comprehensive evaluation methodology. Through field-based basic reliability assessments of equipment, the technique is applied in technical engineering contexts, with results demonstrating an increase in the effective sample size for basic reliability.
