Abstract:
Abstract As a fundamental component of national security and military capability, the operational quality of aviation equipment exerts a direct influence on flight safety, mission success, and the service life of the equipment. With ongoing advancements in aviation technology and increasingly rigorous user demands regarding operational performance, the accurate evaluation of aviation product quality has become a critical aspect of comprehensive quality management. In response to these evolving requirements, this study analyzes failure and application data generated during the operation of aviation equipment to quantitatively assess current operational quality and associated risks. An optimized Risk Priority Number (RPN) algorithm is employed to establish a systematic quality risk assessment methodology. This approach facilitates both manufacturers and end-users in evaluating operational quality by providing objective performance insights. It enhances manufacturers’ initiatives for quality improvement while offering users a data-driven evaluation framework. In doing so, the methodology reduces the subjectivity inherent in conventional assessment techniques and improves the effectiveness of operational data utilization for advancing aviation product quality.
