Chapter Chapter 4 in Risk Management of Non-Renewable Energy Systems, 2015, pp 177-254 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Seismic Probabilistic Safety Assessment (Seismic PSA) [10] is an external event PSA. The objective of seismic PSA for the plants is to estimate the risk of the plant due to seismic events. Hence, in this analysis safety of the plant is numerically evaluated against the postulated earthquakes and appropriate measures will be taken to enhance the safety of the plant.
