Abstract:
AbstractThis paper aims to discover the meaning of 'making a difference' in an organizational context and its relationship to leadership, motivation and dialogue. The 4 D cycle of David Cooperinder and Suresh Srivatva's Appreciative Inquiry (1987) serves to explore the opportunities of making a difference. Finally, the paper introduces an acronym of B.L.I.S.S. as a dialectical concept to express how making a difference can be achieved and what it means to affect others.
