Abstract: AbstractThis article aims to investigate the extent to which Greek manufacturing industries are aware of their responsibility on the issue of environmental pollution. It is our intention to record the various systems with which the subject companies claim to adjust their specific responsibilities in combination with their organisational structures. This list will be based on two dimensions. The first dimension refers to the results stemming from corporate decisions that state, to a great extent, the basic dynamic and also the weaknesses and fundamental problems of Greek businesses reality. The second dimension is defined considering the theoretical framework of approach and analysis of outflows. The main hypothesis of this research is that the adoption by Greek corporations of the ISO 14000 cannot be at high level due to the development and functioning of the Greek market. The results confirm this hypothesis.
