Combining Big Data and Factor Analysis Method to Study the Investment Capability Evaluation of Machinery Manufacturing Industry in China

Abstract: Investment is a necessary way to promote the transformation of the machinery manufacturing industry to be intelligent, green, and low-carbon. This paper creates an investment capability information index based on big data to measure the quantity and quality of investment, then combines financial indexes to construct an investment capability evaluation system. On this basis, SPSS software is used for factor analysis and comprehensive evaluation of the investment capability of the machinery manufacturing industry. The results show that investments in shares, restructuring, and M&A in the machinery manufacturing industry are more frequent than that asset replacement and among the sub-industries, there are great differences in investment capability.
