A common mistake in too many QFD textbooks and other publications has been to advertise the industrial use of the QFD methodology as an instrument for the improvement of all aspects of product innovation. In the seminal article, “The Manager’s Job: Folklore and Fact”, Professor Henry Mintzberg (1990) revealed some myths about general management.
