Abstract: This part of the book has presented a number of success factors that suggest advice on how to behave in order to achieve a successful outcome of the use of the QFD methodology. The importance of selecting “committed team members” and “providing them with training” is highlighted, and the recommended route to follow is “learning by doing.” It is then suggested that the methodology, like all methodologies, should be pilot tested and adapted to company innovation environment in advance of a full company roll-out.
