In today’s competitive business environment, integrating sustainability into talent acquisition and employer branding is crucial for organizations aiming to excel while upholding social responsibility. This chapter examines sustainable talent acquisition, focusing on how ethical hiring practices, diversity, and environmental stewardship align with long-term organizational goals and social responsibility. It highlights the importance of a robust employer brand that reflects sustainability, enhancing reputation, employee loyalty, and engagement. The chapter addresses Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities), emphasizing fair, inclusive workplaces that drive economic and social progress. Key topics include the theoretical framework of sustainable talent acquisition, which encompasses ethical hiring, diversity, and community engagement. This chapter explores how sector-specific and firm-level characteristics influence sustainable practices, offering strategies for integrating sustainability into recruitment processes, leveraging technology, and promoting diversity. It discusses the role of sustainability in employer branding, highlighting its impact on attracting and retaining talent, and examines advanced strategies like green recruitment and flexible work policies.
