Abstract: This chapter explores the critical intersection of work–life balance and employee well-being within the context of fostering a sustainable workforce. It delves into the definition and theoretical frameworks of work–life balance, examines factors influencing it, and discusses the impact on physical health, mental well-being, job satisfaction, and motivation. Real-life examples from various industries illustrate successful strategies and best practices, while challenges such as organizational resistance, economic pressures, and individual role balancing are also addressed. The chapter concludes by emphasizing the importance of measuring work–life balance and well-being, offering recommendations for organizations and employees, and highlighting the path forward in creating a sustainable workforce through effective work–life balance initiatives.
